Challange:
The Process Optimization Engineer is responsible for providing process engineering expertise and support and for performing process design and process simulation to achieve orderly and efficient plant operations. The POE is accountable for long-term enhancement of plant efficiency and capabilities -Effective use of process engineering tools such as HTRI programs and process simulation software to optimize plant operation -Develop, design and implement improved process control strategies and process optimization programs -Perform process design and material balance for plant modification projects -Investigate complex plant problems and develop/propose procedures and process modifications to address/solve such problems -Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and problems -Provide process engineering consultation and support to peer engineers to improve plant operating results -Evaluate the economics of projects. -Knowledge of basic economic principles. |
